Dr David Reade

MBChB 1986 GMC Number 3180686

I joined Hall Street Medical Centre in 2012, when it was a small practice that had faced significant challenges. Since joining, I have been closely involved in increasing the practice list size, improving access to care, and strengthening relationships with patients and the wider community.

My clinical interests include child development, minor surgery, and joint injections. I am passionate about treating patients and their families as a whole, providing continuity of care across all stages of life.

I have been a GP trainer for many years, supervising and educating qualified doctors as they train to become GPs. I particularly enjoy developing, mentoring, and coaching individuals, supporting their professional growth and confidence.

In 2025, I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in recognition of my contribution to general practice and to Hall Street Medical Centre.

Outside of work, I am married with four grown-up children and an ever-growing number of grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and maintaining fitness, particularly through running.

I joined Hall Street Medical Centre in 2023 and trained at Stellenbosch University. I value clear, honest communication and take time to explain things properly, ensuring every patient is treated with respect, dignity, and care.

I am currently studying towards a Diploma in Women’s Health and have a growing interest in supporting patients through all stages of life. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Paul Rose

MBChB GMC Number 4318125

I joined Hall Street Medical Centre in January 2025, bringing with me over 40 years of experience working within the NHS. I am currently the Clinical Director of Central PCN, overseeing eight practices across Central St Helens.

I hold a dental degree and a surgical fellowship and have a diverse clinical background. Alongside my NHS work, I am a tutor in facial aesthetics across the UK and Scandinavia. Previously, I worked with Merseyside Police as a forensic medical examiner and served as club doctor for Leigh Centurions (now Leigh Leopards).

My career reflects a strong commitment to clinical excellence, leadership, and the development of high-quality services across primary care.

Outside of work, I am a family man with four grown-up children, one of whom still lives at home. I enjoy keeping active and regularly play racket sports, particularly tennis, padel, and pickleball.
