Dr David Reade

MBChB 1986 GMC number 3180686

I joined Hall Street Medical Centre in 2012, when it was a small practice that had faced significant challenges. Since joining, I have been closely involved in increasing the practice list size, improving access to care, and strengthening relationships with patients and the wider community.

My clinical interests include child development, minor surgery, and joint injections. I am passionate about treating patients and their families as a whole, providing continuity of care across all stages of life.

I have been a GP trainer for many years, supervising and educating qualified doctors as they train to become GPs. I particularly enjoy developing, mentoring, and coaching individuals, supporting both professional growth and confidence.

Outside of work, I am married with four grown-up children and an ever-growing number of grandchildren. I value spending time with my family and enjoy keeping fit, especially through running.

I am currently studying towards a Diploma in Women’s Health and have a growing interest in supporting patients through all stages of life. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
